Following the news that Brett Ross passed away on December 25, 2023, to assist Brett’s family with funeral costs and other arrangements, Newmont is facilitating donations for anyone wishing to contribute.

Brett, 32, has been part of the Surface Operations family at Brucejack since September 2016, starting as a Laborer and progressing into the role of Equipment Operator and Bus Driver. Brett was known for always having a smile on his face and laughing. He was a great friend and colleague and touched a lot of hearts at Brucejack. He will be deeply missed.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, including his parents, Deanna & Thomas, his brothers, George and Thomas, who also work for Brucejack, Taylor and John, and his two nephews.
