Brett Riegler, Artist, Surfer, Dog Lover

On April 9th at 10:57am, Brett, pulled out of a wave at K38 after a 2 hour session of catching wave after wave and passed away. A fellow surfer was able to get to him in under 17 seconds and get him to shore. Resuscitation attempts by the Mexican Red Cross paramedics were made without success. Life will not be the same. We love you Brett.

We would’ve been completely lost trying to take care of Brett and get him home without the help of Chris Loker and Jim Langley. The two of them stepped up right away and made everything happen. We were able to get BT home Friday afternoon.

Brett’s dog, Jackie, was his best friend and she is currently in the care of his mother.
