Brett Igmus Davies and the stolen chainsaws...

This is a little fundraiser among friends to help out our mate Brett 'Igmus' Davies. Brett recently had his two chainsaws stolen from his shed in Brunswick just before he moved out. As a woodcarver these saws are central to his art and livelihood.
Brett actually saw the sketchy looking guy walking down the street with his esky as he pulled into his street. He leapt out of his car and managed to grab it off the guy, and then take down the rego of the car this character sped off in. Unfortunately the police have said the car was a stolen car that had done a runner on a servo only 15 minutes before this guy helped himself to the contents of Brett's shed. So it's unlikely he'll see these two chainsaws again.
I figured that Brett has a lot of friends who wouldn't mind chipping in a few bucks to help him out. So all donations welcome big or small. The value of the chainsaws new was $2700 but Brett reckons he can get one of them second hand so I've set the target at $2200.
