Brett has always been there for me. As a brother, he stood with me when I was down, when I was wrong, and always lifted me up after failure. He was somebody that I looked up to and respected. He constantly bragged on his wife, daughter and son and wanted the best for them.

My friend and brother died unexpectedly on the operating table during a routine surgery. It has been a shock to us who love him, but mostly to his wife Amy, teenage daughter Brianna, and very young son Braden.

Amy currently has no job, Brett's funeral expenses were high, and they may lose their house as Brett was their source of steady income as a recently disabled veteran, due to an accident, who had lost his life insurance.
