Brett Barron Rehabilitation Fund

Brett Barron, husband, father and beloved actor had a bad fall on March 19, 2020.  He was rushed to Oregon Health Science University and they quickly performed a disc replacement surgery.  He had a spinal cord injury.  He was unable to move his body and felt numb all over. The doctors have not been able to say how well Brett will recover.

As of March 24, 2020 he is in the Trauma Care Unit at OHSU.  Because of the Coronavirus he is unable to have visitors.  He does not have Coronavirus, but hospitals are not allowing guests.

Brett is having breathing treatments and working on his ability to swallow.  He will likely be in the hospital for several weeks, and then transfer to a rehabilitation center to continue healing and working to regain his strength.

We are hoping Brett will be able to walk again.  He will have a long road of recovery ahead, but he is strong and has shown he knows how to persevere.

In addition to medical bills, we will need to build a wheel chair ramp so that Brett can come home after the rehabilitation center.  We will also need to provide caregiver and nurse supports once he comes home.

We are thankful for your thoughts, prayers, kind words and generosity.
