Brett and Leah Buckwell's House Fire

Our workmate Brett Buckwell and his wife Leah lost most of their possessions in a house fire on Sunday night (18/8/2024). Most of us have worked with Brett at Bendix for over 20 years and value him as a good friend and work colleague.

Not much bothers Brett, but as you can imagine, this has rattled Brett and Leah to the core. Whilst they are fully insured, this process takes time, and they will be displaced from their home for at least 12 months.

Imagine, in 1 hour, you went from lying in a warm bed to watching what you have worked your whole life for burnt to the ground.
