UPDATE:   Goal accomplished!!!!   Thank you, thank you!  With the help of those who donated, and by the grace of God, Daniele and Brett were able to purchase a brand new vehicle within days of the posting of this GoFundMe.  Thank you all for your prayers, support, and kindness towards this beautiful couple.  I understand they are planning a trip to Texas soon.  What a wonderful thing you all have done.

Hi, My name is Dana. I am starting a fundraiser for my sweet friends Brett and Danielle Lloyd.

Some of you may know Brett from social media as The Thankful Carnivore. Brett may not be a stranger to you if you have heard his story. He graciously gives of himself and uses his experience every chance he has to help as many people as he can. He has helped people find sanity, happiness, and health as a MeatRx coach and through his social media.

I am starting this fundraiser out of urgent need for this wonderful couple, and I hope you can help. I asked Brett to record a video for me and I think it pretty much says it all with sincerity. Brett is a humble man and I know this was hard for him.

Brett and Danielle's only vehicle has unexpectedly broken beyond repair. They are facing a situation that could financially ruin them. Without a vehicle, they will quickly run through their savings in Uber, Lyft, or taxi fees, and then risk losing their source of income. Because they are concerned they wouldn't be able to afford costly repairs to an older vehicle, it would be such a blessing to raise enough to help them buy a new car. Something reliable with a long warranty. Something that may last another 20 years or until they are in their 80's. Selfishly, I hope for something they would feel comfortable driving a little longer distance if it were affordable to do so. I know there are "Meat"-Ups and conferences that would love to have Brett speak, and I would love to have them visit Dallas for a Meat Up sometime.
