Brett Alton Survival Fund (Post-Op)

One day, last February (2016), I was roaming our property line.   Something pricked me and I got cellulitis.  While in the hospital, it was discovered I had severe liver damage caused by the cellulitis and a number of other medical factors.  Through medicine and a highly altered diet, I have been kept alive, but am now in end stage liver failure.  I need a new liver or I will be with the Lord in 6 months.  I am blessed to work for a generous, understanding employer, but can no longer work.  I have insurance, but it will not cover everything, especially the recovery time until I can work again.  I will have exhausted my leave time within the next 2 weeks and I will get a couple more paychecks.  I also want to recover as soon as I can.  I have 22 4th graders who are counting on me, plus 2 teenage daughters. I want to live to serve them and the Lord.  I also want to inspire others to fight.
