Brett Allen's Remembrance Fund

It is with the heaviest hearts we announce the tragic passing of Brett Allen. He left us very unexpectedly on April 21st, 2022 at the age of 31. He leaves behind his wife, Janina, and their two beautiful daughters, Amelia and Amaya.

Brett, to his family and friends was someone that would make his presence known in a room full of people. The type of person that was extremely generous with his time, money and especially his hugs. Brett was known for his indescribable hugs, an extreme squeeze of love which had an everlasting feeling, they made you feel like family. Thankfully his girls are more than able to pass on this tradition.

No matter how busy he was Brett always managed to find the time for his girls. Whether it was waking up early on Sunday mornings with his daughters to make his famous Dutch Baby’s, or even after a 14 hour work day always finding the energy to take the girls for a bike ride or a trip to the park.

Brett worked hard his whole life to leave a lifelong legacy for his two little girls. At 15 years old Brett started B&D Allenscape for lawncare and snow removal that has grown into a successful property maintenance and swimming pool company. Brett unfortunately was unable to complete his lifelong vision of a company that would bring certainty to his daughter’s futures.

We have created this fund in the hopes that people will help his family through this hard time and to create some sense of security. Brett’s laugh, humour and joy for life will be extremely missed and forever cherished.
