We all take turns needing help and the Starkweathers need our help. 

To know the Starkweather family is to know love. To know kindness and gritty hardwork.

On New Years day - while the rest of us were kicking off our new years resolutions - they were holding one another close waiting for answers. Bret, their strong father and loyal husband, had collapsed in their home.

A trip to the emergency room brought more questions than answers and he was discharged the next day. With hopes of healing the family returned home and refused to leave his side.

Unfortunately his pain continued, his fever spiked and they knew something wasn't right. 

Several days, 3 doctors appointments and an ambulance ride later - Bret was admitted to the hospital. The doctors believe he has an infection in the blood and possibly his bones. Unfortunately each day brings more questions than answers. His fever continues to spike and the pain will not subside.

The only thing they know for sure is the hospital will be home for the forseeable future. 

While we all wish we could bring the answers the family so badly needs - we must have faith in the amazing medical community and support system that surrounds him. During a time when every last drop of this famiy's love and energy is being used to take care of their beloved father, husband and son - we call on this community for our prayers, white light, healing energy and finacial support. 

Those who know the Starkweathers know they would be the first to support anyone else in need - let's do the same for them.
