Breonn study abroad
Donation protected
My name is Breonn Roberts. I am a 15 yr old junior at Maumee Valley Country Day School. Ever since I was 4 years old I’ve wanted to be a doctor. My hope is to become a OBGYN specializing in fertility. I truly enjoy helping others, and my passion is reproductive endocrinology and infertility. My school is currently offering a two week study abroad program through the Global Public Service Academies. This program will give me hands on experience in the medical field while allowing me to help those in need.
The Global Public Service Academies Guatemala program is a healthcare experience for high school students passionate about careers in medicine and other health occupations. This exposure will allow me to gain hands on knowledge being in the medical field while helping others around the world. I will also have the opportunity to explore Guatemala's community and learn about social factors contributing to primary medical issues like blood pressure, blood glucose, heart rate, respiration rate, and temperature. In Guatemala, I will work in medical clinics, and receive daily language instruction in Spanish or another local language.
I’m hoping to raise $3000 to help offset some of the expenses. I kindly ask that you consider a monetary donation in helping me travel to Guatemala.
Thank You,
Yours truly Breonn
