This fundraising is for the unexpected passing of our dear friend, Brent Donayre Parrilla.

Brent Donayre Parrilla was a son, a brother and a friend to many. Brent was friendly, generous, and an outgoing person who had a loving spirit. With his winning personality and charm he brought happiness, laughter and people together. He was avid car and music lover, contributing founders of the church youth group and loved having a good time with family and friends. Brent was definitely the light of the crowd. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.

Brent faced many struggles, battles and challenges in the last few years of his life. On Wednesday March 13th shortly after 2:30am at the Arco gas station, located in Aurora Ave North, Brent was shot and killed. We find peace to know that what happened to him was not a result of his past but was a result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We are comforted to know he will be rested in peace with his mother, Elma in heaven.

Brent is survived by his father Bethuel, stepmom Anita and his sister Elea.

In an effort to lessen the burden, stress and pain of his family, we are hoping to raise money to assist in funeral costs. As of 03/16, we’ve received blessings of $3600 from friends and family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A Memorial Service will be held at Evergreen Washelli on Saturday March 30th from 10:30am - 3:30pm.
