Brennan Hamilton Scholarship Fund

My name is Jennifer Edlind, and I'm creating this campaign on behalf of my nephew, Brennan Scott Hamilton. Brennan passed away suddenly on May 27, 2018 at the age of 18 due to injuries received in an automobile accident. Brennan died one week before his graduation from Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, MI.
Brennan loved to spend time with friends and family, had a great sense of humor and was very active. He enjoyed playing lacrosse and skiing and was an avid music lover who sang in the school choir and created music with his friends.
Brennan lived his life fully, with passion and flair. He was an excellent student and National Honor Society member. Brennan was an independent spirit who read widely and thought deeply. At the same time, he had a quick wit and enjoyed doing things to make others laugh. He was a bright soul, and we are tremendously sad to have lost him so soon.
Brennan was preceded in death by his father, Scott Hamilton, in 2016. His mother, Sara Bartosiewicz-Hamilton, and sister, Payton Hamilton, are working to raise money to start a scholarship fund in Brennan's honor.
Sara and Payton have partnered with the Vicksburg Community Foundation to create and administer the scholarship fund in Brennan's name. The Foundation has indicated that it will take $50,000 to start the scholarship fund.
Please help us create Brennan's scholarship fund by donating. Doing so will support young adults in furthering their goals, as well as help Brennan's family and friends preserve Brennan's memory and create meaning from tragedy.
