The Slavik Family doesn't usually post personal things on Facebook much less ask for help, but I am reaching out for them to all of our family and friends to ask that you take the time to pray and think of their little girl Brenna.
This past Tuesday, the Slavik's were hit with the hardest news of their lives. Their 9 year old daughter Brenna was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is undergoing surgery today (Friday April 19th). The tumor is pressing on her brain stem and cerebellum, which makes this a very risky surgery. Please, please pray for her and the doctors that she will make it through this and stay strong. All the family wants is to see her healthy and back on the field, playing the game she loves most--SOCCER. She has a long road ahead of her, something a 9 year old should never have to do.
I know Brenna has an army of prayer warriors out there and we are all feeling helpless. There will continue to be many days and nights away from home driving back and forth to Children's Hospital and catching a nap at the Ronald McDonald House when they can. Right now, all we can do is continue to pray. I have created this fund to help with gas, food and bills while they are off work to be with their little girl. If you are able to help the family I know they will forever be grateful!
