Brendon's family ❤️

I’m organising this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Verity and her sister Fleur’s family.

February 2021 was the start of a devastating journey for Brendon, Fleur, Ollie and Emelia when their beloved Dad and life partner was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer.

After 2.5 years of fighting and exhausting absolutely every medical avenue possible, Brendon lost his battle on Wednesday in traumatic circumstances and left behind his partner and beloved children who are both in their early youth. It has to be stressed Brendon fought and fought till his body was completely ravaged, however he did make his 50th birthday on June 16th and saw his family move into a more suitable home for the future. I think this gave him some peace. It’s safe to say that Brendon’s family are in much need of some relaxing down time in whichever way they see fit, but also as they make this huge life adjustment of being a family of 3.

Many people have felt helpless with how they can help Fleur and the kids at this time so I thought this could be a practical way to contribute.
