Brendon Trainor’s Final Farewell
Donation protected
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Brendon Trainor.
Brendon was a loving dad of 5, a loved brother, uncle, son and a mate to just about everyone he met. But on 19/12/2023 his internal struggles got the better of him and he lost his life to suicide. To lose him in such a way, with no notice and no goodbye, was an absolute shock and a tragedy that will haunt us all forever.
Brendon was always up for a chat and a laugh. He was known to plenty and loved by many, and as you can imagine, his passing has had a devastating impact on everyone who knew him. But none more so than his kids, Seth, Joel, Liam, Jobe & Alex.
Their world got flipped upside down in an instant, leaving them on a roller coaster of huge emotions, confused, with countless, unanswered questions and in agony as they realise their Dad is gone, and their lives will now be lived without him.
Suicide is a permanent solution to an often temporary problem and has life long devastating outcomes that ripple across our society. We hope that if this page reaches someone who may be feeling like there is no hope, please know you are not alone, you are loved, and don't be afraid to ask for help. There is always hope and brighter days ahead.
We want to be open about the circumstances surrounding Brendon’s passing and hopefully by sharing his story, we can contribute to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this unimaginably difficult time means the world!
Any funds raised will be used to give Brendon his final farewell and support his kids through this difficult process.
Although money won't bring their dad back, donating is just a small way to say we are here for you.
Any money left over from the funeral and memorial service will go to his kids. Either to pay for counselling sessions or into a trust account for when they are older.
