Fighting Against Ovarian Cancer
Donation protected
As many of you know, Brenda Collins suffered from a stroke in January of 2013 and was diagnosed with stage 3 Ovarian Cancer in April 2013. She fought a good fight and beat it which intense chemotherapy treatments. She was cleared in December 2013 as Cancer FREE! Unfortunately, she began having stomach pains in November 2014 and went for a full body scan in January 2015 only to find that the cancer was back and had spread throughout her abdomen, including her liver. At this time, Brenda is off of school so John is the sole income again. Brenda is hopeful to go back to work soon but with Chemotherapy treatments starting today (2/11/2015), this may not be possible until next school year. Her Chemotherapy treatments and Oncologist are located in Kalamazoo, so transportation is a strain for the family. John plans to take time off of work as needed to be a support to Brenda. I know that I have asked before, and many of you donated already, but please consider donating again to assist this loving and selfless family! I am hoping to raise $2,500 to help offset some of the medical costs for her Chemotherapy treatments, transportation assistance, and medications.
