It is with heavy hearts that we learned of Brendan’s sudden and unexpected passing. Brendan was funny, quick-witted, a true friend. He grew up in Regina, spent his high school years in Moose Jaw, moved to British Columbia but returned to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He loved to cook and was a creative force in the kitchen. He wasn’t on social media much keeping his active social life face-to-face.
He loved his friends, family, skateboarding, and live events. He could make anyone laugh and got along with those he met but he was his own person, he wasn’t one to give in to peer pressure but carved his own path on his own terms while still being a truthful, honest, heart-on-his-sleeve lovable guy. He had his flaws like every other human but he was working hard at bettering himself and becoming his best self.
Brendan was always ready to help. He was a great listener and was able to anticipate some people’s needs because he paid attention to those around him. He was smart, effervescent, charming, and charismatic. The world is a less good place without him.
This is a tragedy and no parent should ever have to bury their child. No parent expects to be in this position and Brendan’s family can use any help you can provide to lighten this unexpected and unwanted financial burden.”
