My son Daniel and daughter-in-law Amanda (Jimenez) had Brendan on April 8, 2019. Brendan was born with Atrioventricular (AV) Canal Syndrome. Brendan was kept in the Hospital's NICU until May 10th. We were told that Brendan would soon require open heart surgery and was scheduled for August. After a cardiology visit last week it was determined that Brendan's surgery needed to be moved up and is now scheduled for Monday, July 1. My daughter-in-law is out of maternity leave and disability, which is leaving them with one income. During this time with Brendan in the NICU, my son and daughter-in-law were living out of their car to be close to Brendan. My son has exhausted his sick leave and used his 401k to help pay bills and keep their apartment. They are in need of financial help to allow them to be with Brendan throughout this entire event; surgery, recovery, and bringing him home. I ask for anyone who can help by donating to them to at least alleviate the financial stress of such a time like this. I know those with children, especially infants, can understand the fear and anxiousness of having their baby go through such an invasive surgery, the last thing that any of us would want to worry about is our finances. We appreciate and would be forever grateful to you who are willing to donate.
Thank you,
