Hey everybody! It’s your old pal Brendan coming at you, and I’m in a dilly of a pickle. Specifically, my car (pictured) is as dead as my hopes of winning the Miss America Pageant. It is a dead parrot .

The plan is to buy a used Ford Transit Connect (second photo). I owned one before and it’s a great vehicle (especially for an upright bass player such as myself). I’m looking for either the passenger or cargo version.

But, like a lot of us, I live paycheck to paycheck and… well, that’s a chunk of change. So I’m hoping to offset the cost of the vehicle—about $4000-5000–through this GoFundMe.

I’ve already got about $2000 cash in hand. The RAV4 will fetch a few hundred more when the junk car guy comes later this week. But your kind donation will help me get over the top to purchase the vehicle I need.
