Thank you, everyone who donated to what will be a permanent legacy of Brendan Barker's selfless and exceptional contributions to our Alameda Little League (ALL) baseball community. The donation window is now closed, as it reached well beyond anyone's expectations. We are amazed by the generosity of our ALL families and friends of Brendan who contributed to his lasting legacy. The Barker and Daly families are BEYOND appreciative for memorializing Brendan one way or another, and thank everyone who donated, shed a tear, relived a laugh, or told a personal story about Brendan to someone these past few days.

Alameda Little League is raising funds for its long-time, dear friend Brendan Barker. Brendan passed away late at night on June 11, 2025. He performed many roles at ALL, from umpire to groundskeeper to assistant. He was always there when the league needed him, during fair weather and foul. Brendan will be greatly missed.

Brendan's family has informed the league that all proceeds are to be used to establish the Brendan Barker Memorial Umpiring Fund. This fund will be used for umpiring in Alameda Little League and Junior Umpiring Scholarships.
