Hello, my name is Katherine. I'm one of Brendan's sisters and Brianna's sister-in-law.

On Saturday 6th August, while out celebrating a birthday with friends, their home was up in flames. Neighbours alerted them to the situation; however, everything was gone by the time they reached home. All but one of their beloved animals escaped. Their beautiful furbaby was later found in what was once their walk-in wardrobe.

Our hearts are completely broken for them; just another blow to a string of bad luck they have experienced and continue to experience.

I've never been one to ask for help; honestly, I don't know where to start. My sister-in-law's mum was undergoing extensive surgery as they watched their home burn to the ground with family around them.

Where does one start to rebuild, a planned and fully paid for well-deserved overseas holiday to be canceled as they have no passports, luggage or desire to continue? The extent of their loss uncomprehendable.

I have had many reach out, asking how they can help, suggesting a GoFundMe.

Our Greatest concern at the moment is that of their Mental Health.

Losing their home, beloved cat, and everything but the clothes they were wearing Saturday, Greater than any of the ones they are and continue to deal with today.
