A father, a husband, and the heart of his family, Rodrigo Preciado, was unjustly taken from his home and deported to Mexico, a country he hasn’t known since he was only 4 years old.
Rodrigo has lived in the United States for 37 years. This is where he grew up, went to school, built a family, worked hard, and raised his four beautiful children alongside his wife. He had done everything right; He was waiting for the official U Visa. Rodrigo had a valid work permit, a Social Security number, and a driver’s license. He was simply waiting for his Permanent Resident Card (green card) to be finalized soon.
Rodrigo worked hard every day to support his family, while his wife homeschooled their children and cared for their home. Despite this, after being detained by local police, he was handed over to immigration. He was denied the chance to see a judge, denied the fair process he was entitled to and deported unjustly. Overnight, his family lost their provider, and Rodrigo was sent away to a country he barely remembers.
Now Rodrigo is in a country he doesn’t know, confused, scared of the unknown, and filled with sadness and helplessness from not being able to see his family.
Meanwhile, his children are under deep emotional distress, and the only thing they can do is cry for their father.
His wife is trying to stay strong, but without him, the weight of the world has fallen on her shoulders.
We are raising funds to:
• Provide legal representation to fight for Rodrigo’s return.
• Support his wife and children in the U.S. during this heartbreaking time.
• Help Rodrigo survive in Mexico until he can come back home where he belongs.
Rodrigo was doing everything right for his immigration status to be legal, and all he wants is to continue raising his family and living the life he has built here. Please, from the bottom of our hearts, help us fight for justice and bring him back to the only home he has ever known.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you cannot give, please share this page so we can spread the word.
Thank you for your love, support, and prayers. Together, we can help reunite Rodrigo with his family.
