Hi, my name is Karen Rodriguez and Brenda is my sister in law.

She’s a mom to 3 beautiful children and an amazing wife.

Brenda has had a hard life and was on bound to make the best of life, she was motivated to get a full time job, become the best mother and wife and finally have the wedding of her dreams.

Unfortunately Brenda was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor and is currently in hospice. It all started as intense migraines only to go to the ER and find out it was a tumor causing it. She had surgery is early October 2022 following with rounds of radiation and chemotherapy. Unfortunately it did not work and the tumor became more aggressive and began to grow. Brenda has done a second round of radiation and chemotherapy with hopes of it going into remission.

Due to the aggressiveness of this tumor her mobility and speech have been highly affected, she was become bed bound and highly dependent on family members. During these difficult times her husband has had to cut back on work hours and it has made it challenging to manage their medical bills, food and house hold bills.

Hola, mi nombre es Karen Rodriguez y Brenda es mi cuñada.

Ella es mamá de 3 hermosos hijos y una esposa increíble.

Brenda ha tenido una vida difícil y estaba destinada a sacar lo mejor de la vida, estaba motivada para conseguir un trabajo de tiempo completo, convertirse en la mejor madre y esposa y finalmente tener la boda de sus sueños.

Lamentablemente, a Brenda se le diagnosticó recientemente un tumor cerebral agresivo y actualmente se encuentra en hospicio. Todo comenzó como migrañas intensas solo para ir a la sala de emergencias y descubrir que era un tumor que lo causaba. Se sometió a una cirugía a principios de octubre de 2022, seguida de rondas de radiación y quimioterapia. Desafortunadamente no funcionó y el tumor se volvió más agresivo y comenzó a crecer. Brenda se ha sometido a una segunda ronda de radiación y quimioterapia con la esperanza de que entre en remisión.

Debido a la agresividad de este tumor su movilidad y habla se han visto muy afectadas, quedó postrada en cama y muy dependiente de sus familiares. Durante estos tiempos difíciles, su esposo ha tenido que reducir las horas de trabajo y ha hecho que sea un desafío administrar sus facturas médicas, alimentos y facturas del hogar.
