One of our former classmate and friend Brenda Pool-Keene was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in November 2019.  Brenda is in the middle of 16 weeks of chemotherapy which will be followed by surgery and 20-30 radiation treatments.   Since being diagnosed Brenda has not been able to work in her kindergarten classroom due to having a compromised immune system.  Even though she misses the classroom, her kids, and her co-workers everyone agrees she needs to focus on her health.  I am sure she is missed by all!  Unfortunately, this time away from work means she is no longer getting a paycheck and there are medical expenses that insurance just does not cover.  Your donation will help with the current out of pocket expenses of $5500.
