Brenda Meadows, an Army veteran, mom, sister, wife and chairperson of Branson's Veteran's Task Force; needs your help.

Brenda was re-diagnosed with multiple myeloma a second time in February of 2020. Brenda underwent a stem cell transplant in 2015 which set her in remission up until then. She underwent intense chemotherapy for several months, then was told that the chemo was not working. They suggested she transfer to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, where they specialize in her type of Cancer.

Weeks went by without any treatment, as Brenda and her family waited and waited on the VA for phone calls, appointments, tests and approvals. There seemed to be a lack of communication between her oncologist and Barnes. Barnes received no information on Brenda, and the VA was telling her it would be several more weeks. Brenda didn't have any more time.

Unfortunately there will be no experimental treatment because the VA does not approve of treatments that are non-FDA approved.

The Myeloma spread throughout her mid-region, resulting in excruciating pain and several hospital visits. Each of those visits added up extra costs. Costs that are not realistic for her and her family to cover.

Her family is seeking other alternatives, including intense all-natural, homeopathic healing. The new hope is an experimental treatment out of Houston, TX.

They need to raise $14,000 per month for 6 months for this new treatment. The VA doctors and hospitals have sent her home so treatment is out of pocket.
