My name is Lana and I'm fundraising on behalf of my friend James and his cat Brego.

 

The Story of James & Brego

Brego and his sister were adopted as a 3-week-old kitten in 2017. It was love at first sight. He immediately trusted me and I felt in that moment that we were meant to be together.

 

Brego has one special party trick that really gets the crowd going. At any moment, he can roll over and put his belly on full display at lightning speed and maximum cuteness. Such a display of vulnerability can convince even the biggest cat skeptic to come around. But, of course, with great power comes great responsibility, and Brego only uses his special trick to ask for one of two things: food and cuddles.

 

 

 

 

On April 2, a loud sound spooked Brego and he fell off the ledge of our second story loft. We immediately rushed him to the animal hospital and discovered that he had fractured his pelvis and needed surgery. He can't do his favorite party trick anymore and it breaks our hearts!!!

 

His surgery was successful and he'd been responding well to his medication, but recently he's been acting despondent and throwing up his meals... it's devastating to see Brego not his usual fun, cuddly, food-loving self and we need your help to support getting Brego's belly trick back.
