18 Years Young - 17 Weeks Pregnant- Diagnosed with NK Leukaemia.
(UPDATED FOR YOU ALL AS A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS IN BREE'S JOURNEY)
Bree is a young, mum-to-be who was told this is the answer to the excruciating aches and constant fevers shes had to endure over the majority of 2018.
NK Leukaemia is A rare and aggressive form of Blood Disease causing problems with her bone marrow being able to produce healthy blood cells.
She was given 2 very raw and heartbreaking decisions - her selfless and caring side shining through - without hesitation, chose to halve her own chances of survival in order to give her son a fighting chance with as much time as possible - womb side.
Our girl has been fighting the odds given to her from her team of Hemotologists & Oncologists at Nepean Hospital and has been recieving Alot of attention from midwifes and other Teams of Doctors all around the world.
She has now just completed her 3rd round of "Soft Chemo", 3 weeks out from planned delivery, then its time for Full Chemotherapy while Baby is off to fight a battle of his own in NICU at 28weeks.
We are opening this page as we are in a crisis, people from all over are constantly asking how to assist Bree, Jackson and our family.. this is it, and there are no words greater than thank you - please keep Bree in your prayers, and send all positive vibes and healing her way !
UPDATE :
For 12 whole days this beautiful little miracle graced his mum and dad with his presence. 12 short but magical and treasured days, before tragically; growing his angel wings and leaving such devastated and broken parents behind.
Despite the trauma witnessed already, to this day (4-10-18 ) she is able to leave hospital for day trips , blood levels are on the rise and she is working hard to get those leg muscles working again.

Bree contracted an infection which could have passed over to Bub. This forced an emergency Cesarean and had Baby K delivered into the hands of NICU 3 months early.

Just sharing a huge update on our Brianna
She is going very well at the moment, finally putting on weight and feeling great!
• The next big procedure kicks off on the 21st Nov
• She will need spinal tap and a bone marrow biopsy.
• Gets admitted into westmead on the 28th, For heavy chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
• While she is going through all of the above, our brave little brother, Ty (who is 100% cell match), starts receiving needles from the 1st till the 4th Dec, to release the much needed cells into the bloodstream.
• Cell harvesting begins on the 5th
• Cell transplant on the 6th.
Our girl is a fighter, and so loved by each and every one of you!

The universe can be very cruel.
When results were looking promising and Bree was booked to have a bone marrow transplant in under 2 weeks, donated from our little brother..
The fight stepped up as the results have turned and the Leukemia is trying to get the upper hand..
• The transplant & Chemo are no longer an option at this point..
• There is a medication that the team of international Dr’s want to try, but it comes at a cost of $3000 a dose, required every 3 weeks..
As if she hasnt been through enough, i am hoping and praying a hospital , ANY HOSPITAL somewhere funds this process, MY SISTER DESERVES A CHANCE
