Help Ashley Breedlove fight Kidney Failure & Get a Life-Saving Kidney Transplant
Hello Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I am reaching out with a heavy heart but also with hope. I have been battling Stage 5 kidney failure and now urgently need a kidney transplant to regain my health and quality of life.
My Journey
In 2020, while pregnant, I was diagnosed with COVID during this time, my blood pressure continued to rise, and I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, where I spent a month in the hospital before having my son at 28 weeks. After making it past that hurdle and bringing him home after 88 days, things were back to normal, and I seemed to be doing better. In 2021, I had my beautiful daughter full term with no issues. A few weeks before her 1st birthday, I caught COVID again and was hospitalized. My kidney function was decreasing...... In November 2022, I was admitted to the hospital, not knowing if I'd make it home to see my babies again. I was forced to decide on what kind of treatment I would like and had emergency surgery to place a catheter in my neck and started immediate dialysis the next day. It still hadn't hit me how bad things were until I received a call a few weeks later that my mom had passed away from the same thing I had just started. Life got hard, and scary things changed quickly while having 2 under 2 during that time and trying to survive a new way of life. I went from a healthy person to having 6-7 surgeries in 2 years.
Here I am, 2025, approaching my 3rd year of treatment and getting back to a somewhat normal life. My goal right now is to be a stronger and healthier version of myself for myself and my kids. They need me on this earth, and to stay here, I need your help while I am on this journey for a kidney transplant.
The Financial Burden
A kidney transplant is not just a medical procedure; it comes with huge expenses, including:
