Supporting Ben and Dylan After the Loss of Charlie
On behalf of our dear friends Ben and Charlie and their son Dylan, we're reaching out to ask for your help during a time of unimaginable loss.
Charlie — a devoted mother and loving wife — passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving behind Ben and their gorgeous 9-year-old son Dylan.
Charlie was one of the kindest, most thoughtful and generous people you could ever hope to meet. She had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved, and she gave so much of herself to those around her. The love she poured into her family and friends was extraordinary.
She dedicated her days to homeschooling Dylan, creating a nurturing and safe space. Dylan is autistic and diagnosed with ADHD, and Charlie was his constant source of love, comfort, and guidance. Her absence has left a huge void that words simply can’t express.
Ben is a self-employed bricklayer, and with Charlie gone, he’s now faced with the heartbreaking task of navigating life as a single parent — all while grieving and trying to be there for Dylan, who is still processing this huge loss in his own way.
Charlie’s parents, John and Elaine, have been an incredible source of support, as they too grieve the devastating loss of their beloved daughter.
We've created this fundraiser to give Ben and Dylan a bit of breathing space. Right now, they need time — time to grieve, to adjust, and to begin healing without the added pressure of immediately returning to work or worrying about income.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping them with daily living costs, emotional and practical support for Dylan, and the space to simply be together during this incredibly difficult time.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser with others who may be able to help. Let’s surround Ben and Dylan with the love and support they so desperately need right now.
Thank you so much for your kindness,
