Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out as a family during an incredibly difficult and unexpected chapter in our lives. A few weeks ago, Casey started with what we thought was just a stubborn cough. Within days, it escalated into a severe, life-threatening infection. He was diagnosed with necrotizing pneumonia, and the damage to his lungs was far worse than anyone expected.
From the moment he was admitted, it has been a whirlwind — emergency scans, multiple chest drains, procedures, and long days in the hospital as we tried to understand what was happening and how to help him heal. These past weeks have been filled with fear, hope, and countless prayers.
Thankfully, Casey is now stable and finally moving toward recovery, but we still have a long road ahead. His doctors have estimated at least 6–8 more weeks before his lungs and strength recover enough for him to return to work. And with the government only just reopening, his disability benefits are delayed, leaving our family without income during a time when medical bills, medications, and everyday household expenses continue to build.
We are doing everything we can to stay strong for Casey and for each other, but we’ve reached a point where we need help. Any support — whether it’s a donation, sharing our story, or sending prayers and positivity — truly means the world to us.
Casey is an incredible husband, father, family member, and friend. He is always the first to step up when someone needs help, and now it’s our turn to lift him up and surround him with love and support.
From our family to yours, thank you for every prayer, every share, and every bit of kindness you’ve shown us.
With love and gratitude,
The Wolfram Family
