Well.. here we are. We were encouraged by a sweet friend to ask for help, and as much as we would like to say “we got this”, we don’t. We are exhausted and maxed out.

Julia had an emergency pacemaker surgery, with over $3000 of prior medical bills from ER and cardiology visits. Abby’s surgery was two years in the making, but has resulted in an overnight emergency hospital stay. Our health benefits reset September 1st and we will have to pay for COBRA for

October. On top of that, a surprise $2300 car repair bill because the ABS system went out in the Sequoia.

As most of you know, Roys job ends September 23rd as the DOD downsized many Historian positions. Julia’s job ended September 5th due to medical and professional needs, and she won’t start work until October 2nd for her new job. So we will be without income for about 3 weeks with a lot of debt mounting.
