My brother Stephen has been diagnosed with a severe lung disease caused by an underlying genetic condition called Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency and is in need of a lung transplant. This life-saving procedure will significantly improve his health and quality of life, but it comes with substantial medical expenses and extended recovery time.

A little background on Stephen's family. Stephen and his family live in the foothills of Eastern San Diego County. He is the sole provider, working as a General Foreman at a construction company while his wife Amanda homeschools their twin sons.

As his family navigates this journey, Stephen and Amanda are facing mounting costs, including hospital bills, medications, and daily living expenses while he is unable to work.
