Our family is reaching out with full hearts and hopeful spirits as we face the fight of our lives, helping my dad, the incredible Chris Greene, get the lung transplant he urgently needs.

My dad Chris, the "Greene Machine," is the strongest, most hardworking man we know. If you know Chris, you know he’s a fighter. We call him the Greene Machine for a reason. But even machines need a little help sometimes. In 2010, he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive lung disease that causes scarring in the lungs and makes it harder and harder to breathe. There is no cure and a double lung transplant is his only chance for survival.

He has officially been placed on the list, and we're fundraising because a transplant isn’t just a surgery, it’s a journey. Your support will help cover:

-Travel to and from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

-Temporary hotel stay during recovery (required to stay near the hospital)

-Medications post-surgery (lifelong and extremely costly)

-Out-of-pocket medical expenses not covered by insurance

-Lost income for Cher taking time off to support him
