Supporting Marie, Sean, and Their Strong Little Warrior

This fundraiser is for Baby Elliott, the brave little boy of Sean and Marie, who has already shown more strength and courage in his first month of life than most of us show in a lifetime.

After a complicated birth, Elliott has spent his first month in the NICU, fighting through challenges most adults couldn’t imagine. Despite two failed extubation attempts (one where he actually pulled the tube out himself — our determined little fighter!), Elliott is finally taking his first steps toward breathing on his own.

He still has a long journey ahead before he’s fully off oxygen, but getting that breathing tube out is a massive win — and a powerful step forward for this little warrior.

One Month of Miracles

In just one month, Elliott has:

Endured two surgeries

Had one successful skin graft

Overcame a failed extubation attempt

Weaned off pain meds

Started tube feeds

Moved out of the incubator and is now holding his temperature on his own

Finally been held by his parents and experienced skin-to-skin contact

Doctors initially told Sean and Marie it might be months before they could hold or feed their son. But Elliott is proving them wrong — one milestone at a time.

Even in the NICU, Elliott’s personality shines through:

Likes:

• Head rubs

• Sucking on his ET tube (we all have our quirks!)

• Being held and swaddled

• Story time

• Mama’s voice and gentle touch

Dislikes:

• Diaper changes and assessments

• Bright lights

• Tube suctioning

• When Dad boops his chin dimple

• And, ironically, his ET tube

Why We’re Raising Funds

Elliott has another surgery coming up for a new skin graft — a major step that will help him continue healing and hopefully begin eating soon. His parents have been by his side through every procedure, test, and sleepless night, doing everything possible to support their baby boy.

This fundraiser will help ease some of the financial burdens they’re facing as they focus on Elliott’s recovery. Funds will go toward:

Medical costs and follow-up treatments

Travel and lodging for hospital visits

Lost income from time away from work

Meals and essentials during long NICU stays

Post-surgery recovery care
