Breath of Fresh Air - O2 Unit for Daniel Percy

Many of us can relate to being un/underinsured or un/underemployed. What happens when medical challenges arise? To whom do we turn for support? Our religious communities? Friends? Family? Anyone? Strangers? The state?
In this time of great suffering, may we continue to have the kindness and compassion to share what we have with those who cannot provide for themselves because of the reasons mentioned above.
Daniel Percy, a local friend and community elder, is one of those folks who is in need of our collective help.
After being diagnosed with COPD, and most recently, cancer, Daniel, a one time thriving RN, has had a difficult time keeping full time work, and as such, remain properly insured. Recently, he has found himself in and out of the hospital, as his situation deteriorates without the ability to have available, portable, concentrated oxygen.
Refillable tanks are terribly expensive over time, and the SimplyGo Concentrator unit will not only save Daniel much-needed resources, but vastly improve his quality of life, as he will be able to move freely again, once his O2 isn't a concern.
If Missy or I were standing before you, telling you Daniel's story, I'm confident enough in the quality and generosity of our friends and family to say that we could have this device paid for in a matter of days.
Between the two of us, we have over 1600 friends and family members, which means if everyone contributed $2 to saving someone's life, we could make a HUGE difference, and know that we, together, have caused positive change in the world. We can put a face to the receiving end of our kindness.
Getting these resources to him ASAP is urgent, as once Daniel is discharged from the hospital, he returns home where he will be in immediate need of his life-saving oxygen.
