Breast wishes for Emmers

My little sister, Emily, was recently diagnosed with early stage triple negative breast cancer at age 32. She will be undergoing a double mastectomy in December and starting chemo treatments soon after. Because chemo also can cause premature menopause, she is also doing fertility treatment/egg freezing.

As you can imagine, on top of the mental load of it all, that crap is expensive and fertility treatments are not covered by insurance. We’ve created this GoFundMe to help cover the out of pocket medical costs and to ease the financial burden during this challenging time.
