Hello everyone,

I’m Nathaly Quintanilla, and I’m reaching out during a challenging time for my family. My grandmother, Maria Quintanilla, who is 66 years old, is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer (invasive lobular carcinoma). She recently had a double mastectomy on September 16, 2025. The post-operative care and medication can be overwhelming, and I’ve had to take time off work to provide the support she needs.

This year has been tough for my family. In early February my father Fredy Quintanilla, had contracted a severe E. coli virus that led to multiple urinary tract infections. Despite treatment at a hospital in Conroe Texas, he has been admitted four times, and the infection eventually affected his kidneys, causing him excruciating pain. I had to bring him to Dallas for treatment at Parkland Hospital, I actually admitted him the same day that my grandma was getting her mastectomy surgery so as of right now I am taking care of both of them in a moment of illness where they can’t fence for themselves. 

My Father is starting to improve, but he still faces a long recovery process. He has several catheters in place, which prevent him from returning to work, and the medical bills and bills are starting to pile up. 

As a college student working part-time, my income is not enough to cover our expenses. I’m creating this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial burden and to ensure that I can provide the best care possible for both my grandmother and father during this difficult time.
