Please Help. Our sister has Breast Cancer.
Donation protected
We are writing this to share the love we have for our sister and ask for your help.
On August 7th, 2020, at 41 years old, with 5 beautiful children and recently becoming the sole parent in her home after 19 years of marriage, our sister was diagnosed with stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer which has metastasized to her lymph nodes. The cancer is aggressive and we can only pray that her treatment is successful.
The cost for her treatment is expected to be between $130-$150K/year. She has to hit her out of pocket maximum before much of it will be covered by insurance and will likely have ongoing costs for the next several years. Estimates for the cost of her treatment doesn’t include the day-to-day financial support she will need to simply live. Previously, she worked in Early Childhood Education but due to her treatment, COVID, and the need to care for her children, who are now homeschooling due to the pandemic she is unable to return to her career.
Our sister is not only a wonderful mother, but she also is the type of person who is always there when you need her, and she is known in her community for the support and care she gives to others. What would seem a great struggle to us, she does with ease.
We are doing everything we can to keep our sister in her home, and doing what she loves best in this world, being a caring and nurturing mother. She is the type of person that would be uncomfortable asking for help in this way but the first to step up if someone needed help and so we are humbly asking you to help us give back to our sister with a donation. We have this page and all donations go directly to a trust to protect and manage any donations to her and her children’s health and care.
We ask that you contribute whatever amount you can now. If that is $25 dollars we appreciate it, if you can pray for her and her family, we thank you. If you can find it in your heart to give more or to share this message with others who may contribute, we personally want to tell you how much we appreciate it. Thank you for helping us. If you prefer to not donate through this site you can give directly through other means, feel free to contact us by clicking the contact button.
