Breast Cancer Sucks! Help Genesis Fight Back!

If you have landed here, chances are you are a friend of Genesis Maldonado. If you know Genesis, then you are a friend. She doesn't have many acquaintances, because to know Genesis is to love her. Her non-stop energy and ebullient personality crush through any aloofness and bring you right into the fold. She seems to have endless talents: chef, mixologist, sports expert – the list is endless. These many talents are combined with a maturity that is rarely found in someone still in their 20s. She is compassionate and caring and seems to always be in the right spot, with just enough empathy to be able to help whoever needs it, to the degree they are comfortable with the help.

Unfortunately, being helpful is not the same as being helped. It is often the case that those who care for us the most, have the hardest time accepting help. Right now, it is Genesis who needs our help.

Genesis has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, which just sucks. She has a long and difficult battle ahead, with multiple surgeries and treatments. Genesis has more than enough strength and will to beat this, but she needs our help. To beat this she will need to be free to choose the medically best options throughout her journey. To do this takes money, so that finances do not stand in the way of being able to elect the best approach at each stage of the battle.
