Breast Cancer metastasized to brain mass
Donation protected
Hello
I’m Julienne. In January 2022, I was diagnosed with stage three HERR two positive breast cancer. Within a month I had started intense chemotherapy treatments
, and in October of last year had surgery to remove the remaining mass of cancer. In November/December I underwent a month of nearly daily radiation treatment to stave off any remaining cells. Three months ago, I was given the all clear that everything was gone but about a month ago, I started having left-sided weakness from my arm and hand down through my foot and leg. I thought it was perhaps a side effect from a new heart medicine my cardiac doctor put me on. Fortunately, I had an appointment with that cardiac doctor last Monday and he said it was definitely not a reaction to the med. I may have had a stroke and to go to the ER. When I got to the Kaweah ER, I was in for a scan within the first hour. The ER doc that was there that night said that a mass showed up on the right frontal lobe of my brain and that they were not able to take care of it so they put a stat referral into UCSF Medical Center, where I was airlifted to within a couple of hours. I was scheduled for brain mapping surgery for this past Monday with Neuro Surgeon Dr. Harvey jumper. I am being referred to an inpatient acute rehab facility just near Ucsf to work on gaining and building strength on my left side because one of the side effects from the surgery left little mobility on the left-hand side. The prognosis once I have finished Rehab is to once again receive radiation, targeted treatments and most probably chemotherapy treatments also. I feel very blessed that everything started moving very quickly from the point of going to the ER; that is a huge benefit but since I won’t be able to work, whilst having these postop treatments, a friend suggested starting a go fund me story so that I can focus on recovering and be able to take care of some basic bills over the next several months with any donations received. Any amount you are able to donate is greatly appreciated

Thank you very much for your consideration
