Breast Cancer Medical funds - Mrs Anne Marie Miamel

My name is Mrs AnneMarie Miamel, and I’m facing the fight of my life: Stage 3 breast cancer.

This diagnosis has turned my world upside down. I’ve had to travel from overseas to Cairns, Australia, for urgent treatment. I’m currently staying with my son and his partner, who have lovingly welcomed me into their home. Their support has been my lifeline—but the financial burden is immense.

As a non-resident, I don’t qualify for Medicare or public healthcare. Every scan, treatment, and consultation comes at a high out-of-pocket cost. Doctors estimate my care will surpass $100,000—including chemotherapy, surgery, medications, tests, and essential travel and accommodation.

It’s incredibly hard to ask for help, but I cannot do this alone.
