Hello everyone, Melanie was diagnosed with breast cancer this past February. She had a double mastectomy in March. Then she developed a infection, emergency surgery was needed for that. Then she needed a different set of drains installed.
Then the infection would not go away, so another surgery was needed to remove the expanders. Which meant more drains.
Then the wounds still did not heal, so another cut in the Dr. office.
Now a wound pump is required for the breast area.
The pump and supplies are expensive, daily fees for the pump. This requires three visits a week to the Dr. which means payments for the visits and supplies.
Monthly payments were set up to the Dr. office.
The funds raised will pay for medical expenses, the travel to Dr. office.
So far the bills are slow to come in, now they are coming in more steady.
This will help our family continue to carry on.
