I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 3/24 at 33. I had a double mastectomy on 4/15, and they went back in for more lymph nodes on 4/25. My cancer is estrogen-fed, so I will be doing 5 months of chemo, radiation and 5 years of hormone blockers. I was told to freeze my eggs so I could have children once I stop the medication. Unfortunately this is not covered by insurance, and they need payment upfront.
