Breast cancer: D's Battle At Only 31

Danielle Jones is one of the strongest, most honest, genuine and intelligent people I know. She has endured so much in her life already and on October 28th, 2016 at only 31, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Danielle and I have been best friends dating back 20 years and in my opinion, this isn't even the worst of what she has faced in her lifetime thus far, but it is the most current battle and she has already started facing it the only way she knows how. Bravely and head on. For those of you who may not know her personally, she grew up in Reedley, Ca and has lived in Rancho Murieta, Ca with her husband, Ryan, for the last 7 years. They have 3 beautiful children (ages: 11,10 and 22 months) and work together running their business. In a few short weeks she will undergo a double mastectomy and possibly other procedures related to her cancer (we are still awaiting results). Her procedure will land just before Christmas which is just heartbreaking for her and her whole family. I have started this page for anyone, who like me, want to support the Jones family because unexpected medical bills isn't something we want anyone to have to deal with let alone our friends or family and starting this campgain is an attempt to help in the only way I know how right now. I know that since publicly announcing her battle Danielle has been grateful for the flooding of well wishes and support she's gotten. I too have been touched by the sweet words I've seen from people going as far back as elementary school. In her small town (if we can really call it that.. ;)) she has made some amazing friends she now considers family and although I've spent time with these people countless times over the years, this past weekend it was truly beautiful to see how much they genuinely love her and her family. They stopped by and found us both make-up less (sorry about that guys) more times than I care to remember but all anyone saw was a woman they'd come to love and all they cared about was how they could help. Danielle's fight is just beginning and I'm tagging everyone in that can help. This means financially, physically and emotionally. Not everyone is going to be able to tag in in all those areas, but I urge you to offer wherever you can. Every penny, every phone call and every hug counts. If you feel comfortable, I ask that you share this page so that not only her story gets out but the word about cancer in general gets out. Cancer Sucks and it can hit anyone at any age. Women of ALL ages need to be pro-active in checking their breasts. Thank God for Legend and his breast feeding beacause the reality is, he proably has saved her life.
