Back in August our dear friend Sherry was diagnosed with breast cancer just days before her son Gavin turned 8 years old. This came as an obvious shock. We asked God, “hasn’t she been through enough”? Her first child Sophia was still-born but has never been forgotten. We cried hard and prayed, then sturdied ourselves to do battle with this beast of a disease. Chemo infusions began in October and are spaced 3 weeks apart. Holding down a steady 9to5 job while enduring these treatments has proven to be impossible and we all know disability doesn’t pay enough to survive on. A double mastectomy is scheduled for after the holidays. More chemo and possibly radiation is still to be decided. She hopes to resume working by Spring time. But until then she needs us as her family & friends to give generously! Outside donations from earthly angels would also be greatly appreciated!
