Breast cancer awareness in young people

This girl right here is one of my bestest friends. We have been there for each other through thick and thin. Worked together. Travelled together. Laughed together, and cried together.

Chloe is also a carer. She looks after people when they are at their most vulnerable, and always puts others needs before her own.

In recent months she has been diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. Fortunately it appears it has been caught early enough and she is undergoing chemotherapy and surgery. She is handling it all like an absolute boss.

Chloe is only 33. Cancer doesn't care how old we are.

Sadly I live a distance away, and we also cant have too many visits due to the chemo and not wanting to risk passing on any illnesses. So I decided I want to do something for a good cause and raise awareness.

I am going to cycle 300 miles at the gym across May for Breast Cancer Now. Anyone who knows me, knows that cardio is not my friend at the gym. I'm a weights girly.

Please use this as a reminder to check your breasts/boobs/lady lumps every month so you become familar with any changes. Life can be busy sometimes and I know I have been guilty of forgetting to do a proper check routinely. But it doesnt take long and could save your life.

Signs and symptoms to look out for:
- a new unusual lump in the breast or armpit
- thickening of the breast
- skin dimpling or redness
- changes in breast size or shape
- nipple changes such as inversion or discharge

Please share across your network to help raise awareness and any donation as little as £1 would be hugely appreciated ❤️
