I would like to take a moment to introduce to you a strong Woman mother of 2, Marielis Gonzalez age 30. For the past 4 months, she had notice her walking ability had become limited, due to excruciating pain. After visiting her primary physician who could not determine her diagnostics, her family along with her went for a second opinion , to discover her worst fears to come true.
Marielis, was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer stage 4 (cancer spreading) a tumor that is compressing her lower spine, this cancer has also weaken her bones, any abrupt move can cause her bones to crack or even break due to chemo and radiation. The tumor, that has infused into her lower spine, now requiring that she may be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life, since they can only control the tumor but not ensuring full mobility from waist down.
With this alarming news, she will not be able to return home, since her current home does not have easy access to be traveling back and forth to continue medical treatment. We hope with the contribution, for her medical needs, she can find an apartment with an elevator for easy access, and a bathroom to assist her with her personal needs. She misses her daughters, they visit her daily they don't understand what is happening to Mommy, being home after treatment is the best medicine treatment ever !!! The doctors are unable to send her home or give her release, until a home is found suitable per Doctor's order. Her two lovely daughters are the age of 4 and 9 they miss their mommy. We are hoping someone knows anyone with a home with medical mobility to bring her home. Her family and friends are here to assist her and anything you can to contribute will be greatly appreciated.
