Hello everyone! For those of you that don't know me my name is Jessie and I am a proud trans woman of color.

As many of you know (or don't know), I have been medically transitioning for almost 2 and a half years now. I am truly blessed to be living as my authentic self. However, in order to help mitigate my gender dysphoria I have decided to undergo some gender affirming procedures. In the year 2020, I will be embarking to new frontiers with my transition - one of them being my breast augmentation surgery that is happening in the coming months. 

As a graduate student at UC Berkeley it is difficult to save money for this procedure as a majority of my time goes to my studies and the money I do save goes to basic needs such as: rent, car payments, clothes etc.  This is my first time ever doing something like this and any donation amount is greatly appreciated. 

Just to be transparent the breast augmentation surgery itself is $3,000 and the additional $1000 accounts for the fees that GoFundMe collects and the rest of the amount serves as a little cushion for the time I will be recovering after the surgery.
