Help Breanna on the Road to Recovery from a Brain Tumor
Donation protected
Breanna is a smart, driven, lovable and multi-talented girl. Up until a couple of weeks ago, she was living her best life, attending Sheridan college for Performance Arts Preparation. Through her talents, Breanna had also received a $40,000 scholarship to cover tuition at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, and planned to begin a program there in the fall. Breanna is a natural performer, having been in several stage productions. She has also written, recorded, and released multiple singles. Tragically, last week, Breanna was diagnosed with slow growing brain tumor.
Breanna had been dealing with paralyzing headaches and dizziness for several weeks, and was told by multiple doctors that it was likely vertigo. Only after suffering a seizure, being rushed to the emergency room, and undergoing extensive testing, was the mass on her brain discovered. Thankfully, the tumor is operable, and doctors are hoping to successfully remove it. Breanna will be undergoing surgery on April 23rd at Hamilton General Hospital.
In order to care for Breanna before and after her surgery, her amazing mother, Sabrina, has taken a leave from work. The family are trying their best to make ends meet while persevering through an incredibly difficult situation. Breanna has had to take a break from school and work, and delay her dreams of moving to New York to attend AMDA.
As neither of them will be able to work for the foreseeable future, we are hoping to raise money for Breanna and Sabrina in order to ease the burden of the situation they are going through. Any funds raised would go to towards living and travel expenses during Breanna's surgery and recovery. Funds would also be used towards Breanna's school fees and expenses. We are praying that Breanna's surgery goes well, and she is able to make a smooth recovery.
Updates on her progress will be made.
